Discovering Your Parks and Forests

by HSVillage 1 Comment

Depending on where you live, shop colorful is the word that describes your surroundings. Are you getting outside more as it cools off? How about taking field trips and family outings? We try to stay outside as much as possible during the fall months.

Recently we discovered an awesome app by the Forestry Department. It is super easy to use, and best of all…it is FREE to use! The next time you are looking for a place to spend the afternoon, even if you are away from home; check out the post by Simply Sherryl on VacationMaybe – Discovering Your Parks and Forests.

I love going for walks with my kids when they were young and teaching them all about plants and insects that we saw. Great ideas!
