Finger Knitting Scarf Tutorial

Finger Knitting Tutorial Great for Handiwork projects

Charlotte Mason speaks about handwork as something that is beneficial to the child – as long as the project is worthwhile and produces a project that is worth keeping. In her words, she calls it ‘a useful pursuit’. But finding handwork projects that are useful while still being easy enough for small fingers can be a difficult task.

Finger knitting is a handwork skill that is so simple that small children can easily make their own creations with chunky yarn, yet the project is still engaging enough for older children (and moms too!). Tonia at The Sunny Patch shares a great finger knitting tutorial with lots of great pictures to walk you through creating your own finger knit scarf. Head over and check it out!
