Organic Apricot Kernel Oil
Looking for a nut free carrier oil? Take a look at the Organic Apricot oil by Renewalize. It’s made from cold pressed apricot kernels and is a light, pale-yellow liquid with a slight nutty fragrance. It makes a wonderful oil for massaging sore muscles and as a carrier oil for essential oils. Since it is nut free, it is a great substitute for Almond Oil.
A couple of ways that I have been using this oil is as a body moisturizer and as a booster to my hair conditioner.
As a body moisturizer, I simply place a couple of drops in my palm while still wet and quickly rub it all over. I like the way it moisturizes my skin without leaving a greasy feeling.
As a Hair conditioner booster, add a couple of drop in my conditioner bottle. This has made a huge difference in the flaky – itchy spots from eczema on my scalp.
Some of the listed benefits for using Apricot Oil are:
For the Skin:
• As a massage oil because it easily absorbs into the skin, and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling
• Removes impurities and dead skin cells while it moisturizes to soften and smooth the skin
• Reduces skin irritation from dry skin and helps reduce inflammation, itching and redness from eczema
• Substitute for Hand and Foot Cream and helps to reduce the signs of wrinkles and fine lines
For the Hair:
• Helps restore shine to damaged and chemically treated hair
• Helps cure dry and flaky scalp
The label displays the USDA Organic and Quality Assurance International seals. The amber glass bottle protects the oil from light and the dropper cap makes it easy to dispense the amount needed. It should be kept in a cool place and can be refrigerated.

I’ll bet that smells good. I’ve used oil in my conditioner too. Just a drop or so. I’ll have to try this scent.
