10 Winter Activities for Kids

by Sherryl Wilson Leave a Comment

Sometimes it’s tough to get the kids outside on those cold, winter days. It’s so much easier to stay inside where it’s nice and warm. But that time out in the fresh air is important (especially for mama’s sanity!) so Tonia from The Sunny Patch has a great list of ideas to get kids outside and enjoying the winter snow.

Maybe sledding or snowball fights aren’t your thing, but what about making snow ice cream or maple taffy? Best of all, there’s a free printable Winter Nature Scavenger Hunt that you can use to even fit in a bit of school time while you’re outside. Go check out her Winter Activities for Kids and print your scavenger hunt for some wintertime fun!
