Animal Study Lesson Plans for K-3

by HSVillage Leave a Comment

If you’ve thought about covering the subject of animals and classification with your children but weren’t sure where to start, this 18-week lesson plan will help!

You’ll spend 18 weeks classifying & observing animals, dissecting a clam, a fish, and an owl pellet (and you can include more dissection if your kids enjoy it!). They’ll learn to observe animals, classify them, and along the way, your children will learn to chart their observations and record their experiments. It’s a perfect introduction to animals for you Kindergarten to 3rd grade students.

So head over to Tonia’s blog, The Sunny Patch, and download your free Animal Study lesson plans today!
